Textual Analysis - Front cover

Magazine - Q
The title of this magazine is very bold to attract the audience. Cover lines let you know what is included in the magazine. The main colour that is used is blue, bright and bold to alert the audience. The price is hidden by the bar code because the magazine is too expensive at £3.99 and by adding bold headings ans cartoon pictures this keeps the focus off the prize. They use colour co-ordinated to make the magazine look appealing and not too bright and alerting.
It mentions on the master page that this magazine is, The UK's biggest music magazine which shows that this magazine is a popular choice. This magazine uses creative imagery, using cartoon pictures which include photographs of different artists. The title uses a different colour background compared to the rest of the magazine is mainly blue. The layout is simple not too complicated with a main picture with writing under and a box with the title in on the top with a master head and cover lines. The front cover shows you what sort of genre this magazine is by adding the artists that are included in the magazine, they do this by adding the photos of the artists in the wave which is in the cartoon picture which links it together.  On the front cover, it also has there names in bold, attractive text.
